Hi Rafael, Sorry for the late reply but for some reason I was not copied on the mail. It would be useful to know from which version you upgraded. Could you do a backup of your. zotero and create a new profile. I would also try to delete any other instance of zotero. Tonight I am going to try to set up a vm with squeeze and upgrade to wheezy to see if i come across the same problem.
