No, nothing specific. A non-free package that I am using, and that I
might try to get into the non-free archive uses it, although I am not
sure yet if it actually needs the last version, it is just the one that
came bundled with it.

As a side note, 1.8.0 does not work directly in wheezy, as it requires a
newer version of python-six that is not declared (the six.PY2 symbol is
not defined in 1.1).
