Actually I've pulled this out for now, as it has some problems. It does have a fatal error (which I fixed easily), please always check the translations with: $ msgfmt -c -o /dev/null --statistics <file> The biggest issue though, is that the fuzzy markers have not been removed for the updated strings, which means that gettext will not make use of those. Please update the .po file by removing those markers from the strings that are newly translated or the ones that have been corrected or updated.
