Package: debian-history
Version: 2.19
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

I was trying to download the original Debian announcement news posting. In the
History document you list the url
http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=CBusDD.MIK%40unix.portal.com&output=gplain
to the original Debian announcement news posting. Could that get replaced by
(or augmented with)
https://groups.google.com/forum/message/raw?msg=comp.os.linux.development/Md3Modzg5TU/xty88y5OLaMJ
? The latter URL points to the raw posting, it does not need javascript to
view it; just wget suffices. It would have taken me less time to get the
document if this
other url would have been in the document.

Thanks for maintaining the debian-history package!

Bye,

Joost
