I think, I have the same error here:
If I plug an OMNIKEY CardMan (076B:3021), unplug it and plug it again
I get a segfault from pcscd.
A SCM SCR335 reader will not produce any segfault on unplug/plug.
I have installed libusb-1.0-0 2:1.0.19-1 with pcscd 1.8.12-1
With downgrade to libusb version 2:1.0.16-1 the error occurs on the third plug
Downgrade to version 2:1.0.15-1 I have no segfault any more...
