Package: gnome-do Version: 0.95.2-1 Severity: critical Justification: breaks unrelated software
Dear Maintainer, Since a recent update (maybe 10 days ago or so), my desktop running Jessie freezes whenever gnome-do launches. (This happens on Gnome as as well as XFCE and Cinnamon.) I initially assumed the problem was a graphics driver issue, or that I broke my system some other way, since gnome-do was set to launch automatically and the desktop would freezes a few seconds after I would log in. For a week, I had been using tty1 to update the system using the unstable repos, hoping the breakage would fix itself. I eventually gave up and set up a fresh install of Jessie today, and all was well until the desktop froze after I installed gnome-do and tried to launch it for the first time. After uninstalling it, I've had no continued problems. -Sage Ross -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
