Package: xscreensaver
Version: 4.23-2
Severity: wishlist

This wishlist may well take a while, but since I am currently
offline, it's best to get the idea out...

I love electricsheep. I would love it even more if xscreensaver
included the electricsheep voting patch... but wait, that's
a different wishlist item...

electricsheep drives the processor all time and thus increases power
consumption. Thus, I usually just blank the screen on laptops. But
when I do have a power supply, there is no reason why I can't see
the sheep.

Wouldn't it be cool if xscreensaver checked acpi/apm whether the DC
adapter is online, and then chose a different profile than when the
machine is running on battery power? I can surely do this with some
hacks, but well, yeah... this is Debian, so let the features float
upstream (uh, if there were an upstream).

Anyway, the wine's good. Hi Ralf!
