Again, cupsd is no longer running. Since /var/run/cups/cups.sock is still there (i.e. no clean-up, and no reason to quit), I suspect that it is a crash. At least an abnormal termination. ypig:~# ls -l /var/run/cups/cups.sock srwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 2014-11-08 07:39:19 /var/run/cups/cups.sock ypig:~# pgrep -af cupsd ypig:~# invoke-rc.d cups force-reload [FAIL] Reloading Common Unix Printing System: cupsd failed! Given that cupsd is no longer running (pgrep returns nothing), the force-reload failure is expected. -- Vincent Lefèvre <vinc...@vinc17.net> - Web: <https://www.vinc17.net/> 100% accessible validated (X)HTML - Blog: <https://www.vinc17.net/blog/> Work: CR INRIA - computer arithmetic / AriC project (LIP, ENS-Lyon) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
