Package: libnet-dns-perl Version: 0.80.2-2 Severity: serious Hello,
while installing a spamassassin/spampd on a Jessie, I get the following error when spampd process starts: root@eb7214b4c139:/# /etc/init.d/spampd start [....] Starting spam checking proxy daemon: spampdArgument "0.80_2" isn't numeric in numeric ge (>=) at /usr/share/perl5/Mail/SpamAssassin/Plugin/AskDNS.pm line 214. Syslog err [Bad file descriptor] at /usr/share/perl5/Net/Server/Log/Sys/Syslog.pm line 61. After some researches, it seems the libnet-dns-perl provided package isn't a stable release: http://spamassassin.1065346.n5.nabble.com/Bug-7095-New-Don-t-assume-versions-are-numeric-td112573.html Thus, in the current situation, we're unable to get a working spampd on Jessie, unless we deactivate almost all the spamassassin plugins… Which, obviously, isn't the right thing to do. Cheers, C. PS: I think this bug is related to libnet-dns-perl but, if you feel it's more related to spampd package, feel free to correct this report accordingly ;). -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
