Sorry about the mess. The NMU above was canceled because there is an exit 0 in the middle of the postinst, so that apache2.4 set up was not run on upgrades. I still suggest someone sponsors my version above [1]. It is more complex, true, but I believe this is the correct way to do things: - Use dh_apache2 - Move conffile to /etc/apache2/conf-available where lintian will report errors. - Do not use "forbiden" a2enmod (would overwrite user choices). - Drop support for apache1, remove corresponding questions.
