fd 3 appears to be a socket to communicate with fishd. I don't think this has always been there, but don't know.
I now also get some error messages about common key bindings such as Ctrl-U and Ctrl-D, but I suspect this is because readline is not fully initialized or the readline configuration method has changed since I last used it. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
