As I told you, I browsed with aptitude. No, I saw no error messages. Ahh, perhaps you are simply unaware of the curses interface of aptitude: 1) Execute "aptitude" with no other arguments to reach fullscreen mode 2) type "/packagekit-gt" and hit ENTER to locate the package 3) hit ENTER to see package details 4) move down to "Packages depending on..." and hit ENTER to see reverse dependencies > This package should likely depend on a PackageKit session interface > (gnome-packagekit-session | apper). IMO it should depend on whatever provides the dbus interface (as I guess it is completely useless for anyone without the dbus interface), but only enhance user interfaces of packagekit (not depend/recommend/suggest as the relationship is directional: Seem this is similar to a plugin, which means it is the other tools that benefit from the addition of this one). - Jonas -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist & Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ [x] quote me freely [ ] ask before reusing [ ] keep private
