We have some desktop running debian Jessie which lost the network every few days. At that time we got the following messages in syslog: Dec 9 20:07:57 chilopoda NetworkManager[605]: <info> (eth0): DHCPv4 client pid 936 exited with status -1 Dec 9 20:07:57 chilopoda NetworkManager[605]: <warn> DHCP client died abnormally We have to restart manually dhclient to get the network back.
