Right. That line is what reportbug generated for me. I wasn't sure if
the version was sufficient to make it DTRT. Some docs for wb other
than the actual source with this sort of info in would be a very fine
thing, but I've not found any yet.
There's https://release.debian.org/wanna-build.txt , which does mention
!unstable at least, and is linked from https://build.debian.org.
Admittedly it doesn't mention the explicit binNMU numbering syntax.
(I'm admittedly biased, but the wb source isn't hugely complicated; it's
a reasonably dumb wrapper in a lot of ways.)
