Note to self: use "reply all". You're proposing that I use an epoch to forcibly downgrade all sid users who have been using 5.5 bug-free for 2 months, breaking all configuration and environment for those users (config is imported from older versions, but not backwards from newer versions)? That seems more than a little user-hostile. Frankly, I'd rather have the fight about letting 5.5 migrate (it was in the archive in early October, well before the freeze) than break an unknown number of users' systems for pure housekeeping purposes. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJUiaiwAAoJEMkPnLkOH60MLBsIALr4iiHyFo9+m6w6dJRZ5mjx PvdOBQehgFOW8JWz4EF0fRJBD5AvxHE1opv3l64Q2OzWos3X0ySv2ayK6EzH4vxw EdKh+om7tkClv32Jiopd7f7G7SH/aTL1x72/g1n9X/zqurwWcBS4lD831X3Mpfjb 1gpM6NhDEUaoDjZD35M0FeehxFX7NzMdzsQPL/97SN/gd8F4neC3iubqHpQh3Pa7 wFAXCi954WaC1QyYP8Q2aHfeR2avaWfEzLWtB9dcUo/QGGXopS2jaKbhdhPyLB0v 8i7f5fn2yABAMcUaUA3/lW1FNKrLP6HRbSQR1AwrqnsItuqGmjOOISMYVGhsqw0= =+4um -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
