Package: reportbug Version: 6.6.1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
When trying to request a binNMU using the gtk2 interface, I found the text in one of the menus to be confusing. The issue is not present in the text interface. To reproduce rajulocal@hogwarts:~$ reportbug -u gtk2 release.debian.org Hit Continue -> select binnmu line, hit continue -> Enter "smartmontools" for the package name, hit continue -> Select "This is the correct version" At this point, the menu displayed is Is this request for specific architectures? This removal is for all architectures. This is a partial (specific architectures) removal. This is confusing a bit since I was requesting for a binNMU and not a package removal. The issue is not present when using the text interface. Here the interaction looks as follows: rajulocal@hogwarts:~/chess$ reportbug -u text release.debian.org *** Welcome to reportbug. Use ? for help at prompts. *** Note: bug reports are publicly archived (including the email address of the submitter). Detected character set: UTF-8 Please change your locale if this is incorrect. Using 'Kamaraju Kusumanchi <kamar...@gmail.com>' as your from address. Will send report to Debian (per lsb_release). What sort of request is this? (If none of these things mean anything to you, or you are trying to report a bug in an existing package, please press Enter to exit reportbug.) 1 binnmu binNMU requests 2 britney testing migration script bugs 3 other None of the other options 4 rm Stable/Testing removal requests 5 squeeze-pu squeeze proposed updates requests 6 transition transition tracking 7 unblock unblock requests 8 wheezy-pu wheezy proposed updates requests Choose the request type: 1 Please enter the name of the package: smartmontools Checking status database...
