severity 336168 serious thanks From what I can see, vnstat should in fact be Architecture: any, or at least Architecture: [list of all linux archs]. Bug #300671 only refers to running a 32-bit i386 binary on a 64-bit amd64 kernel, and seems to be *requesting* a 64-bit version of the package -- and I can confirm that vnstat builds fine on 64-bit systems (alpha).
The release policy requires that packages be supported on all architectures where it is reasonable to do so; if you downgrade this bug, please explain why the current i386-only packaging is reasonable.
