Bugs 342788 (recently merged with this one), 342316, and 342371 all seem to stem from the lack of symlinks in /usr/lib/firefox/plugins/.
Possible fix: Duplicate the contents of /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ (or the old /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins) in /usr/lib/firefox/plugins/ Problem: After doing this, firefox (1.4.99+1.5rc3.df) recognizes the flash plugin but fails to display flash content.
