the debug output shows that Icedove is crashing while it's tries to communicate with one of the servers with a SSLv3 connection. Is it impossible to not use SSL based connections and switch at least to TLSv1.1? The issue broken pipe means that the remote side has the socket closed while you (Icedove) is trying to write something into it. So maybe the remote side isn't correctly configured ...
