Hello,

I'm a bit surprised by your approach: 0.999 is not yet in testing after the same more than seven weeks, even less in stable, how am I supposed to test if the bug is still there as normal user?

When you write that the bug isn't reproducible, have you really tried it or just assumed it might have died of old age? I'm asking because the changelog of xsane from 0.998 to 0.999 doesn't say anything about fixing my bug (which IMHO is very easy to test, and most probably reproducible on any Debian installation not using iso-8859-1 as default charset).

Thanks, Eric

thanks

Hello,

this bug is not reproducible and we get no answer since more then seven
weeks.

So I close this bug from 2012.

Thank you for spending your time helping to make Debian better with this
bug report.

If the bug still occurs feel free to file a new bug or reopen this bug.

Jörg
