trying to find out the required settings for the -d aacraid driver, I see that 
the the smartctl
man page references the deprected /proc/scsi/scsi in order to determine the 
SCSI host number, 
LUN and ID of the queried disks.

This should be updated to reflect the correct paths within the /sys filesystem.
