Hello Gilles, Thanks for your bug report about cryptmount, and the helpful reference to bug #759263.
I've just re-run the cryptmount test-suite on my Jessie test system, and all the tests seem to pass. I suspect this means that the problem you're having is not related to bug #759263, which was caught by the test-suite. From your description, I'm guessing that your encrypted filesystem may live on a network share (mounted under /home/gilles/mnt ?). This isn't a use-case that I've tried, especially with LUKS encrypted filesystems, and I'm not sure whether it's an intended use-case for libcryptsetup. If you are indeed using a network share, it might be worth trying the same setup steps, but with the encrypted container somewhere on your local disk. If the network share is the source of problems, then you might like to try a different keymanager within cryptmount. Perhaps you can let me know the result of those experiments?
