Yes, unfortunately, it still FTBFS on amd64. This pains me as much as 
anyone, since my primary machine is amd64. Hacking out the bad -m32 helps 
things get through an compile a lot further, but 0.20 still has the same 
issues as 0.18 that we tried to debug in the past.

The good news is I've have had some luck with a version from SVN that has 
quite a few fixes for amd64. I've discussed with the upstream maintainer 
and we both think that it's best to wait for 0.21 to be released before 
packaging & uploading. At least, that was the situation about a month ago. 
I may actually check again after Christmas and see if it's worth uploading 
a SVN snapshot...

P.S. Maybe I'm reading that wrong, but it sounds like you're implying that 
someone (me?) put the -m32 in there on purpose to try and "hide" something. 
Just to be clear, this is a case of bad build detection on that part of 
ghdl+gcc, not some kind of intentional neferiousness. =)
