There is a new option in the preferences file of icewm: # Activate workaround for Java7 Swing/AWT focus issue # ActivateJava7FocusHack=1 # 0/1
That option is enabled (1) by default, setting it to 0 fixes the issue at least with rxvt-unicode, maybe others applications too.
