Package: apt-cacher-ng Version: 0.8.1-1 Severity: normal Hi,
after configuring my system to use httpredir.debian.org, I noticed that files downloaded via that redirector don't land into /var/cache/apt-cacher-ng/debrep, but instead in a dedicated directory. So of course, previously cached files (in debrep) are downloaded from scratch. I suspect that httpredir.d.o needs to be added to /usr/lib/apt-cacher-ng/deb_mirrors.gz. Note that Jessie's d-i now allows picking httpredir.d.o (not sure how much it's encouraging users to do so, nor if it's the default mirror), so it may be worth fixing this bug in Jessie 8.0 or 8.1. FWIW, in the meantime I'm using this workaround locally: Remap-debrep: httpredir.debian.org/debian httpredir.debian.org/debian-backports ; file:backends_debian Cheers! -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
