Package: nedit Version: 1:5.5-1 After latest upgrade of Debian Sarge (in December 2005) nedit began to work buggy. When I open the first instance of nedit - everything's fine. When I open more instances (new processes or new tabs - no difference) - Copying/pasting don't work! I launched xclipboard - it showed me, that copying data doesn't even arrive to clipboard after Ctrl-C or Ctrl-Ins.
After that I contacted nedit.org mailing list and they advised me to install official nedit executable. Discussion thread here: http://www.nedit.org/pipermail/discuss/2005-December/007892.html After installing and launching nedit - everything went fine with new install, but ALSO WITH DEBIAN NEDIT! The bug has dissappeared. Now both nedits work fine, but they advised me to contact Debian bug report, because the following output of 'nedit -V' command isn't good (they don't like word UNTESTED) :) nedit -V shows: NEdit 5.5 Sep 30, 2004 Built on: Linux, 486, GNU C Built at: Apr 17 2005, 17:38:00 With Motif: 2.1.0 [@(#)GNU/LessTif Version 2.1 Release 0.93.94] (UNTESTED) Running Motif: 2.1 [unknown] Server: The XFree86 Project, Inc 40300001 Visual: 24-bit TrueColor (ID 0x21, Default) Locale: ru_RU.KOI8-R Best regards, Vladimir -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
