vmdebootstrap is a wrapper but it is not a transparent wrapper which is going to get into an ongoing race of matching options to debootstrap itself. None of these bugs relate to VM-specific issues, these are just debootstrap options, so the only realistic fix is for a --debootstrap-opts option which forms a list which vmdebootstrap never looks at but just dumps on the debootstrap command line. If debootstrap fails, that'll be a problem for the user, not vmdebootstrap. So I'm going to ignore the current patches and see about such an option in some future release. If the submitters of these bugs want to work on such a patch, I will look at it but it must allow support for all the original bugs, not require any validation of those options within vmdebootstrap and make it clear that any failures in this section are not bugs in vmdebootstrap. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
