The information in README.Debian of current linux-source packages (the
"Config Files" section) does seem to be accurate, however it isn't
very helpful to someone who's looking for the .config files in a small
download.  This doesn't seem to be available in the current packages;
IIUC the smallest download is a linux-headers-* package.

I would suggest that the README.Debian be changed to point to the
linux-headers-* packages.

It would still be nice, however, to make the .config files more
conveniently available. One idea would be to put each in its own
package, generated along with the linux-image-* and linux-headers-*
packages, but this is probably ridiculous. Would it be possible to put
them in the linux-source-* package, by having the linux-source-* build
process generate the .config file for each variant?
