Dear Maintainer, I recently tried to resize my home volume, which is a btrfs filesystem on a lv. I used the following command: # lvresize -r -L -75G /dev/RAID/home_vol fsadm: Filesystem "btrfs" on device "/dev/mapper/RAID-home_vol" is not supported by this tool fsadm failed: 1 Filesystem resize failed. It would be nice if this tool supported btrfs. Resizing btrfs (on a single block device) is easy (just do btrfs filesystem resize). thanks, Brian Minton - -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.0.0 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages lvm2 depends on: ii dmeventd 2:1.02.90-2.2 ii dmsetup 2:1.02.90-2.2 ii init-system-helpers 1.23 ii initscripts 2.88dsf-59 ii libc6 2.19-18 ii libdevmapper-event1.02.1 2:1.02.90-2.2 ii libdevmapper1.02.1 2:1.02.90-2.2 ii libreadline5 5.2+dfsg-2 ii libudev1 215-17 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian13+nmu1 lvm2 recommends no packages.
