It seems a new version has been released not long ago. Anyway, to expand on my original report, I was looking to enable the HTTP/2 support in curl, which requires nghttp2. Unfortunately the current nghttp2 version in Debian doesn't work very well with some sites, and future curl releases will probably require nghttp2 1.0.0 [0]. If needed I can help update the package.
