I think that's normal behavior, perhaps you meant 100 then 120?

Could it be that this behavior happen on certain URLs you are visiting
regularly?

Alright, I'm not forwarding the bug upstream since it can't be
reproduced, and I never experienced it.
Perhaps you are using some X input method (XIM)? Or a Gtk input
module (GTKIM)?
