Package: cloud-init Version: 0.7.6~bzr976-2 Severity: important On Debian 8, the default /etc/ssh/sshd_config has four different host keys:
HostKey /etc/ssh/ssh_host_rsa_key HostKey /etc/ssh/ssh_host_dsa_key HostKey /etc/ssh/ssh_host_ecdsa_key HostKey /etc/ssh/ssh_host_ed25519_key but cloud-init does only generate the first three, which makes strange messages like this one to appear in /var/log/auth.log: [...] sshd[4859]: error: Could not load host key: /etc/ssh/ssh_host_ed25519_key Since this package is used by several VPS vendors offering Debian images, please consider an upload for stable fixing this.
