Hmmm. And how are we supposed to do anything about this without any real information about your hardware or a more extensive boot log? Please fill in a full installation report [1] and reply with that to this message. For your information: that image works perfectly with 2.6 on my Ultra 10. Sparc is not the best supported architecture when it comes to upstream kernel maintenance. There is not very much we can do about this in the installer, unless you can identify a specific issue for us.
