Package: sweep Version: 0.8.4-2 Severity: wishlist As a modern, forward-thinking person, I've banished support for OSS devices from my system. However, the Debian sweep package doesn't seem to have ALSA support, even though sweep appears to have had ALSA support for about 2.5 years.
Anand! Mate! Isn't ALSA the way and the light? Can't you make it so? :-) Thanks... peace & happiness, martin -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14.3 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages sweep depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-9 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libglib1.2 1.2.10-10 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk1.2 1.2.10-18 The GIMP Toolkit set of widgets fo ii libmad0 0.15.1b-2.1 MPEG audio decoder library ii libogg0 1.1.2-1 Ogg Bitstream Library ii libsamplerate0 0.1.1-2 audio rate conversion library ii libsndfile1 1.0.12-3 Library for reading/writing audio ii libspeex1 1.1.11.1-1 The Speex Speech Codec ii libvorbis0a 1.1.0-1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi ii libvorbisenc2 1.1.0-1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi ii libvorbisfile3 1.1.0-1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi ii libx11-6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxi6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 X Window System Input extension li ii xlibs 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 X Window System client libraries m Versions of packages sweep recommends: ii cmt [ladspa-plugin] 1.15-3 Computer Music Toolkit (cmt) a col pn fil-plugins <none> (no description available) ii mcp-plugins 0.3.0-3 LADSPA plugins designed for Alsa M ii swh-plugins [ladspa-plugin] 0.4.14-1 Steve Harris's LADSPA plugins ii tap-plugins [ladspa-plugin] 0.7.0-2 Tom's Audio Processing LADSPA plug -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
