I think I will take some faster hppa machine from our warehouse instead. 712 was a fine choice just of its size, but I don't want to deal with some shady example, however If I'll find another 712, I will try go with it. I see there is another recent 712 user: https://lists.debian.org/debian-hppa/2015/05/msg00003.html and suppose he used stock kernel without problems. At least he doesn't mention any issue.
Anyway, please let me know if you're going to make no_hpsdc=1 parameter work some way.
