Version: 5.0~a3-1 Hi, I've been using live-config for a long time to build custom iso images using the following configurations: $ cat /etc/live/config.conf export LIVE_USERNAME="live" export on later update from 5.0~a2-1 to 5.0~a3-1 things went messy Problem is the iso live system boots fine, but doesn't start a getty after the initialization scripts, it just stays there waiting for nothing to happen as shown in the image below: I've also tried switching the kernel and switching the backend to live-config-systemd but that didn't help, switching the initsystem to /bin/systemd from purposes. The method I use to build the iso is by building a small chrooted system with debootstrap, configure the live options, chroot into it, run a couple of scripts to apply some configurations to services (apache, mysql, varnish, ... etc) the package the whole thing in a squashfs along with the generated live initrd, the kernel and syslinux, I use this method to create custom installable snapshots of my VPS clients machines and it has been working for almost 3 years ...
