Package: hibernate
Version: 2.0+15+g88d54a8-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I installed jessie xfce4 amd64 in my box (acer aspire 5100 wmli)
and all works fine exept hibernate and suspend.
I read several bug reports on the topic (for instance #746439) and
I tried the proposed aid :

 sudo hibernate
 echo "disk" > /sys/power/state

but always with the same result:
black screen and the laptop continues to turned on, but it is unusable.
I used these commands in console and under X (I don't use lightdm I use
 startx)
I can add that it worked well under wheezy.

 Thanks.
