Package: libglib2.0-0
Version: 2.44.1-1.1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

the recent upgrade of libglib2.0-0 in amd64 to 2.44.1-1.1, without a matching
upgrade of the i386 version, breaks multiarch systems, since it forces removal
of the unmatched i386 version, and thus forces uninstallation of a slew of i386
packages depending on it.

The solution is really simple and requires minimum effort (unless some
arch-specific bugs I am unaware of are blocking the release of the new version
for i386): just force a recompile/repackaging with matching versions across all
architectures for which this package is available. Please do so.

Thanks in advance, bye
Giacomo Mulas
