If this could be packaged at some point, it would be greatly appreciated.
The upstream source releases have been moved to github; the 3.6.0
release is here:

The main change of note seems to be the dropping of python. That might
need packaging separately for python 2 and 3?
The other thing is the switching of the java build to use gradle. That
might need some checking to be sure it's not downloading stuff during
the build that should be satisfied through build dependencies.
If there's anything particular I can do to assist, or you want any help
testing, please just let me know.
