Package: eciadsl
Version: 0.11-2
Severity: important

Eciadsl driver does not load on boot.
If I unplug and replug the modem it works:

usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 3
ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: wakeup
usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 4
usb 1-1: usbfs: process 4421 (eciadsl-firmwar) did not claim interface 0
before
use
usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 4
ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: wakeup
usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 5
CSLIP: code copyright 1989 Regents of the University of California
PPP generic driver version 2.4.2
HDLC line discipline: version $Revision: 4.8 $, maxframe=4096
N_HDLC line discipline registered.

It works the same if I do
rmmod ohci_hcd && modprobe ohci_hcd
I remember that it loaded on boot with old hotplug package, so it could
be a udev bug as well.
I can give further informations if needed.

Giacomo Orlandi
