This bug had been fixed in torsocks_2.1.0-1 and I verified torify worked with browsers midori, iceweasel, qupzilla and konqueror.
However, after an apt-get upgrade each of those browsers now fails with the error: Unsupported syscall number 242 This error message is repeated indefinitely. Replacing this version of torsocks with torsocks_1.3-3 fixes the problem with all of these browsers in the upgraded system. thanks, --jack -------------------------------------------- On Tue, 6/2/15, Debian Bug Tracking System <ow...@bugs.debian.org> wrote: Subject: Bug#760075 closed by Jérémy Bobbio <lu...@debian.org> (Bug#760075: fixed in torsocks 2.1.0-1) To: "js" <jsh...@yahoo.com> Date: Tuesday, June 2, 2015, 6:24 AM This is an automatic notification regarding your Bug report which was filed against the torsocks package: #760075: torsocks: SIGSEGV with torsocks 2.0.0 on some browsers, failure to anonimize others It has been closed by Jérémy Bobbio <lu...@debian.org>.
