Package: lists.debian.org Severity: wishlist Hi,
Please create a debian-68k-build mailinglist. This mailinglist would replace the one that is currently at [EMAIL PROTECTED], and is the m68k porters' main point of contact. Rationale: * debian-68k@lists.debian.org, while originally created as the porters' mailinglist, is more of a user support mailinglist these days. * At least one m68k porter has specifically refused to resubscribe to the debian-68k mailinglist, and use that as our main point of contact again. * The nocrew.org mailinglist service does have a spamassassin installation, but it doesn't actually block spam mails; as a result, the archives are rather convoluted, and subscribers need to throw away a lot of mail themselves, too. * The fact that there is no porters mailinglist on lists.debian.org (while there is a [EMAIL PROTECTED]) has confused _many_ Debian Developers in the past; it wouldn't be the first time that someone asks for a rebuild on debian-68k, which is not the right mailinglist for such requests. Alternatively, and perhaps better, it would be a good idea to create a new mailinglist [EMAIL PROTECTED], move the current subscribers of debian-68k to that list, and leave debian-68k open for m68k porter use. This option, however, should of course not be chosen without contacting the debian-68k list itself beforehand.
