I was assuming that Bastien knows what he is doing as the maintainer
of this rather specialized package. A newbie would usually start with
unimportant leaf packages like small games and such, so I didn't
really assume Bastien lacked experience.

Thus, I solely reviewed the changes he made for the current release
and did not perform a test installation as I seriously expect every
maintainer to do that with the packages they maintain, again especially
when it comes to such specialized packages like autoconf-archive.

You may well blame me for not fully testing the package before
I uploaded it, yes. But maybe autoconf-archive should be adopted
by any of you DDs who is actively relying on the package rather
than an apparently unexperienced new maintainer.
