Here's a fix for the GCC 5 build issue. I added "-Wno-error=format-security" to the GNUmakefile. The package successfully builds and links using GCC 5 with this change.

It looks like GCC 5 / gobjc 5 sets "-Werror=format-security" by default. Please see the "Environment variables" section at
