One more thing I've noticed is that swap partition size does not take into account RAM memory and the default seems quite small. Maybe this isn't possible to develop, but just thought I'd mention it.
For anyone wanting to use encryption + LVM (full disk encryption), with a partitioning layout for a desktop installation in Debian 8.1, at the moment I would recommend using the Manual partitioning installation menu option. It is quite easy to use, but you should check out some detailed guides, before doing so, especially if you are an inexperienced Linux user. Different layouts are required for EFI na non-EFI systems.
