No problem.  Maybe I should also scale up the factor of 10?
Its purpose really is only for error detection.

I also decided to fiddle it so that you can specify the
man page date stamp, too.  The "-d @" thingy is really unworkable,
but if you export SOURCE_DATE, whatever it contains will be the date
stamp.  "pre12".  Since this is still "pre"liminary, I'm open
to other variable names.  "SOURCE_DATE" seems too likely to conflict.
Maybe, "MAN_PAGE_SOURCE_DATE"?
