Package: kernel-package Version: 8.135 Severity: wishlist I think that kernel-image packages should use alternatives features for symlinks handling: vmlinux, vmlinux.old, initrd, initrd.old instead of manually altering these links.
it would be much easier to use update-alternative instead of current mechanism when removing/installing few versions of kernel-image.
