unfortunately I do have to use sysvinit and can't switch the particular container i'd like to run knot on to systemd just yet. there are two issues when running the initscript on sysvinit: ---snip--- [warn] tmpfile.d type '#Type' is not supported yet ... (warning). chown: invalid group: ‘knot:knot - -’ [ ok ] Starting Knot DNS server : knotd. ---snap--- I'll attach patches for both after recieving the bug number. Regards, Daniel
