Package: debhelper Version: 5.0.10 Severity: normal dh_installdocs is running the exclude check (excludefile function) on potential .doc-base files themselves. Even though .doc-base files are installed literally, a naive debhelper user will consider it to be more of a control file, such as a .docs file. I spent several hours trying to find out why my .doc-base file was being ignored while my .docs wasn't. Does it really make sense to run the exclude on one and not the other?
