I suggest you try creating a new sun disklabel for the disk. You can do this in partman by selecting the line for the disk after choosing "manual partitioning". (AFAICT the disk is empty otherwise so no data will be lost?) I cannot compare the output with my own Sparc U10 ATM because it is busy compiling a kernel package...
